Kelly Sokalski joined Hope For The Warriors in 2016. In her current role as Head of Development, Kelly leads our Development Team. Prior to that, she was the Senior Director of Donor Experience, responsible for the donor journey, including expanding donor stewardship touchpoints, analyzing donor metrics, and has built the infrastructure for the fundraising operations for all giving segments.

Her career began in the for-profit industry, specifically in senior care and hospitality, with a focus on building development and marketing programs from the ground up. She successfully brought in over $8M in revenue as an admissions and marketing director in the senior care industry in just three years. In total, she has over 13 years of experience specializing in customer experience, operational efficiency, budgeting, and data analysis.

Kelly felt led to combining her experience and desire to do more meaningful work by making a move to the nonprofit sector. Hope For The Warriors was a natural fit as a Marine Corps military spouse. Kelly has a B.A. in Hospitality and Tourism Management and a Business Minor from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Kelly currently resides in Charleston, South Carolina, with her husband Blake and children, Harper and Luke.
