At HOPE, we love making new connections with both individuals and companies alike in our journey towards restoring self, family, and HOPE for the warrior community. Recently, we connected with Clapper, a Texas-based social media platform that allows content creators to share their stories, explore new ideas, and build relationships through videos, dialogue, and more. This past week, we were honored to be the featured charity for Clapper’s Independence Day event, a virtual celebration hosted through the app that featured live music from content creators, virtual games and fireworks, interviews with veterans, and an interview with HOPE’s very own Mario Alcala, HOPE’s Military & Veteran Program Manager, highlighting his military experience and reflections on the holiday. You can watch a recap of the event here.

Throughout the event, the Clapper community raised over $400 for HOPE programs and services in celebration of Independence Day! We are so grateful to the team at Clapper and to all the content creators and attendees that made this Independence Day event possible. Thank you for helping us share HOPE while we celebrated our country and the service men and women, both past and present, who keep us safe and protect our freedoms.
