Programs for veterans, service members and military families fueled by donation

SPRINGFIELD, Va. (July 26 2022) – With over 83 teams participating, Rally North America recently raised over $222,000 in direct donations through its 2022 Monument Rally, benefiting Hope For The Warriors, a national nonprofit dedicated to restoring a sense of self, family and hope for veterans, service members and military families. In 12 years, Rally North America has raised over a half-million dollars to support programs through Hope For The Warriors.
Founded in 2009, Rally North America is an automotive scavenger hunt, multi-state road rally event, founded with the belief it is possible to do something “good” through the automotive hobby. Since its inception the organization has raised over $2,000,000 for various nonprofits.
Starting in Durango, Colorado and concluding in Las Vegas, Nevada, over 83 sports, muscle, and other cars with teams of two or more people, raced over the course of four days. Teams were required to make a direct donation to Hope For The Warriors in order to participate in the event.
Each day, the starting lineup was based by each team’s fundraising efforts with the highest fundraisers starting first. While following the rules of the road, each team navigated the five-state, 1,810-mile course locating 48 check points along the way.
“It is an honor raising money and representing such a fine organization as Hope For The Warriors,” said Tony Intrieri, one of the two event organizers. “Our event is an automotive scavenger hunt and many times that requires our participants to interact with the public. The questions about the Hope For The Warriors decals on our vehicles always comes up. That allows our teams to talk about HOPE and its mission and why it’s needed and important.”
“All of our folks understand the mission and support it. We are very proud of what our people did this year in terms of fundraising and raising awareness. Our group will support Hope For The Warriors again in the future,” shared Scott Spielman, event organizer.
