Resilient Warrior is a course offered to veterans and service members. Resilient Family is a course offered to spouses and caregivers of post 9/11 veterans and service members.

Both are six-week virtual programs. If you can dedicate 90 minutes a week, Hope For The Warriors’ trained facilitators will teach you empirically-proven resiliency and coping skills to invoke your body’s natural relaxation response. The goal is to give you the tools to effectively manage stress — both in the short and long term, to improve your overall quality of life and to do so with a group of your peers – those who understand the unique stressors you face

The evidence-based curriculum consists of three core elements:

  1. Practicing relaxation response techniques, such as mindfulness, guided meditation and breathing techniques
  2. Increase awareness of stress and relaxation and its effects on the mind-body
  3. Adaptive strategies such as positive perspectives, social connectedness, healthy lifestyle behaviors, and cognitive re-appraisal and coping
